OVERVIEW
The truth is, our leaderboards are getting packed with competitors (300+) and while we have a huge variety of Tours to compete on, sometimes its a little overwhelming trying to place within the “Open” tours.
SGT Squads is here to fill that void and allows a group of friends(online and/or local) to play the normal WEB/SGT/PRO/AutoPutt/Par3 events and show up on a Squad Leaderboard as well as the normal open boards. So now, you can play 1 event and be competing against the open forum of players as well as just your squad for bragging rights. In addition to weekly leaderboards, you will also be able to track standings from any date that your Squad Admin chooses. We think all those folks who may be running small leagues out of your garage or have a group of SGT friends that you banter with all day will be perfect for a dedicated Squad.
ADMIN SQUAD SETUP
With an active account and logged in, create your new Squad from the squads home page. Select which Tours you would like to be counted within your Squad, the start date of the tournaments to use for your squad and the name of your new squad.
Hit the Membership icon and start sending invites. The Players you invite can go to the SGT Squads link at the top of SGT to see what Squads they have been invited to and accept/decline those invites.
WEEK TO WEEK
To check results and leaderboards for your Squads there are a couple seamless ways to do it.
1. To check the squad leaderboard for a tournament, just go into any SGT tourney leaderboard and at the top of the board you will see the Squads icon (3 person group icon). Click that and it will show the leaderboards of all the Squads you are a part of.
2. To view your squad standings, visit the SGT Squads link at the top of SGT and from there select the name of the squad you would like to look at. Within the Squad page you will see Standings, both gross and net for any squad you are a member of.
RULES
1. Must be an active(paid) SGT member to be in a Squad.
2. Each squad can have a maximum of 20 members.
3. Each player can only be a member of up to 5 squads.
